Ahead of New Year’s holiday, people cause congestion in Orlando Airport of Florida

FLORIDA, USA - DECEMBER 28: People in Florida, US flocked to Orlando International Airport ahead of the New Year’s holiday, on Wednesday (Dec. 28). People, who wanted to spend the New Year's holiday in different countries and cities, during the snowstorm, caused a great deal of congestion at the airport. As thousands of Americans were stranded at the airports, President Joe Biden Tuesday said his administration will hold airlines accountable. Southwest has canceled more than 15,000 US-related flights since Dec. 22, including 2,509 flights canceled for Thursday, according to the flight tracking website FlightAware. “Thousands of flights nationwide have been canceled around the holidays. Our Administration is working to ensure airlines are held accountable,” Biden tweeted. The deadly blizzard, which has claimed 63 lives, affected a large part of the country and the lives of more than a hundred million people, paralyzing air and ground traffic in most parts.
