The painting "Maria lactans" (1614) by Flemish baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens, that was returned to the picture gallery of Sanssouci Palace, is pictured on June 24, 2010 in Potsdam near Berlin. Ten paintings, including works by Prussia's court painter Antoine Pesne, French historical painter Jean Raoux and the school of Flemish baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens, were thought lost since World War II and given back now to the gallery after they were discovered by private owners. Sanssouci's Picture Gallery, the oldest remaining royal museum in Germany, presents the original collection of Prussian King Frederick II (Frederick the Great) and in addition paintings from other Prussian palaces.
