Lebanese singer Julia Butros arrives wit

Bint Jbeil, LEBANON: Lebanese singer Julia Butros arrives with her producer husband Elias Bou Saab in the destroyed southern Lebanese village of Bint Jbeil, near the border with Israel, to film her latest video clip, entitled 'Ahibaii' (My Loved Ones), dedicated to the suffering of the war-battered region's people, 30 September 2006. Butros, a Christian, said that the idea of the song was inspired by the words of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, which she heard as he was replying to a letter he had received from resistance fighters in south Lebanon, "words which have touched all of us," Butros has told the press. She asked renowned poet Ghassan Matar to rewrite the letter in the form of a poem that she could sing. The revenue of the project will go to help needy families who lost loved ones during the 34-day Israeli offensive against Hezbollah which ended on August 14, costing Lebanon billions of dollars in material losses and infrastructure destruction, on top of the more than 1,200 people, mainly civilians, killed in the conflict sparked by Hezbollah's capture of two Israeli soldiers.
