Winter weather in Berlin

06 December 2023, Berlin: Sleet and snow showers, like here at the Blumberger Damm / Alt-Biesdorf junction, make rush hour traffic difficult in the early morning. There is a risk of black ice due to the cold and wet winter weather. It will remain cold, wet and frosty in Berlin and Brandenburg on Wednesday. The German Weather Service (DWD) warns that freezing rain will cause black ice into the morning. Between one and four centimetres of fresh snow are possible in the north of Brandenburg and in parts of Berlin. Up to eight centimetres of snow will fall in the Uckermark. Temperatures during the day will be around freezing point with highs between zero and two degrees. It will remain overcast and cloudy throughout the day.
