David Reese, principal of Bakersfield High School stands on top of the Industrial Arts Building on the campus that one proposal would put train tracks 60 feet above ground over the building so the building would be closed as we examine the impact of the planned high speed rail line on the city of Bakerfield on October 13, 2011. There is currently a freight train behind the school which the principal says is slow moving and not as loud as the high speed rail will be.
